about

Now based in Paris France since September 2017, THE TALAMASCA was originally founded in Montreal, 1993 by Canadian frontman Eloha (A.K.A. Chriss Lee). After starring as the lead actor of cult vampire comedy DRAGHOULA and producing its soundtrack, (1994, Oneira Pictures - France Film Distribution) Chriss Lee/Eloha wrote and produced TALAMASCA's first 10 song CD/album, "SODOM & GOMORAH" on MotherHouse Records (Cargo Distribution) followed by FRENCH KISSIN', A Montreal KISS Tribute 1995, Cargo Distr.), followed by Talamasca's second CD: "THE LONESOME VAMPIRES SOCIETY" (1996, MotherHouse Rec. Fusion III Distribution) and their third release "GET AN AFTERLIFE !" (1997, MotherHouse Rec., Distr. Fusion III). It is that fatal year that Chriss Lee died of an overdose which left the Montreal music community bereft and shocked. In 1999, Montreal based DJ ASCENDICA released his CD featuring his remix of Talamasca's X-Tacy originally the song X that closes 1996's The Lonesome Vampires Society, Which was also the single and video clip from that album.. Months later Chriss's soul or consciousness came back under a different identity, ELOHA which is Hebrew for "the one who came from the sky. He perfomed with Toronto's THE SEVENATE and recorded 3 more CD releases with much success, signing a distribution deal with Canada's Cyclone records. After a 4 & 1/2 year break from harder music during which he wrote a novel, played a few solo gigs, & recorded solo material; Eloha recently decided to return to what he does best: He found new musicians in Paris for a new & improved version of Talamasca (2.0) which he dubbed THE TALAMASCA, with Ad-x Uno, electric fantastic drummer who previously recorded 2 albums with French rockers VENICE (Warner Music France), & bassman Franck Lamour, longtime friend of Ad-x's and ex bassman of VIVE LE ROY and BELE EPOQUE, both of which toured extensively and won important talent contests in France. Guitar unknown Raff and new singer/keyboard Patricia Matey round out the combo.

Together, Eloha, Ad-x, Franck, Patricia and Raff are updating Talamasca's concept, using 1995's tour as a main point of reference upon which they are building something fresh, new & relevant to the crazy times we live in now!
The Talamasca has landed and is ready to thrive & to destroy the codes of hard and' heavy music with their own unique brand of sound. A music they named:
- DIAMOND ROCK !!

lyrics

SISTER JEZEBELLE
© 2005 Eloha Bouchard (SOCAN)

Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to hell, sister Jezebelle
Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to jail, sister Jezebelle

Pregnant like a silence
A silence speaking measures
Naked like a violence
Fear of overt pleasures

Pop, pop, pop, pop…

Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to hell, sister Jezebelle
Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to jail, sister Jezebelle

Very still in the mean time
Courtroom drama unfolds
A brute we tried to tell you
But words you could not hold

Pop, pop, pop, pop…

Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to hell, sister Jezebelle
Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to jail, sister Jezebelle

Baby come back, come back
Baby come back, now

Turn around, turn around
Turn around, turn around
Turn around, turn around
Turn around, turn around

Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to hell, sister Jezebelle
Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to jail, sister Jezebelle

Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to hell, sister Jezebelle
Sister Jezebelle, We’ll send him back to jail, sister Jezebelle

about

The Talamasca Paris, France

The Talamasca brings forth sounds of construction & de-construction. Franck’s growling and slithering basslines are entwined with Zeb's powerful and colorful guitar riffs set to Ad-x’s electrically shocking drums laying the crib upon which Eloha's vocals voluptuously lay. The lyrics focus on subject matter that usually defy gravity. What do they call their hard & shining
